Text Box: BLOG Text Box: Text Box: Text Box: Text Box: YOUR SUPPORT IS ESSENTIAL Text Box: Text Box: HELP US REACH OUR ANNUAL 2008 GOAL of $10,000.00 Text Box: TAMPA, FL - The Southern Party of Florida has been reformed and is very close to regaining the ballot access it lost when the Party was dissolved in 2003. The newly elected Executive Committee of the SPFL put the finishing touches on the newly revised Platform, Charter, and Bylaws. Unlike other Southern States where a potential or former political Party is required to provide between 10,000 and 15,000 signatures to regain ballot access, Florida is much easier and only requires that a party wishing to form or reform in the State submit a new or revised Platform or Constitution to the Florida Division of Elections. On April 10, 2008, Chairperson Floyd and Vice Chairperson Logan of the Southern Party of Florida submitted to the Florida Division of Elections the required legal documents to regain Ballot Access in the State. According to recent communication between the State and the party we expect to regain our ballot access by the end of May 2008 at the latest. Once ballot access has been regained, the Southern Party of Florida will immediately begin raising funds to not only rebuild the parties treasury but our ability to carry out a successful, yet aggressive recruitment campaign which shall be centered around an equally aggressive advertisement campaign. This is the initial step to fulfill our goal of self-determination for the citizens of Florida. In the meantime while the party heals itself and regains both its financial and membership strength we will do our best to serve the citizens of Florida. Once healed the Southern Party of Florida will work with other related organizations to coordinate plans to run candidates for as many offices in the State as possible, we seek to begin running for office as soon as 2010. Currently the SPFL has opened negotiations with other related Florida organizations and parties to prepare for 2010, and we have begun to take applications from individuals who seek to become an approved candidate of the party in preparation for 2010. Until we can run for office, and until the Southern people are untied in the effort of making a free and sovereign Southern Nation, the party will tirelessly demand that the State government in Tallahassee fulfill its duty in defending the citizens of Florida from an increasingly tyrannical, and border line imperialistic federal government - one which sanctions schools, even colleges, to deprive students’ of their Constitutional rights of free-speech and equal treatment through racist Affirmative Action programs; one which makes continuous illegal acts of war on other sovereign nations (Confederate States, Vietnam, Iraq) without Congress’s formal declaration, while allowing our borders at this very moment to overrun with invaders; a government that illegally confiscates private property and illegally taxes over half of the income of its citizens by way of a corrupt augmented tax system and rampant inflation. Many international corporations destroy and ridicule our communities, discriminate against local businesses and routinely rape our lands and seas through unchecked urban sprawl and development, while the tax payers foot the bill to clean up their mess and in many cases also pay to cause it. The media monopolies degrade our Western Civilization and in some cases even the very blood that has been spilled to produced it, while they applaud and promote their own un-American and un-Southern secular / liberal belief system. Outside of Florida, other state and city governments make ominous overtures of communist style gun-confiscation laws, and even on our own Florida soil our public schools are being forced to educate our kids in Spanish as well as English. Our current elected authorities have done nothing to check these forces nor have even bothered to condemn them, but have in many cases abetted in the assault. Don’t believe the propaganda, there is something that can be done, and the Southern Party of Florida is the party to do it. We were reformed by Floridians like yourself whom are fed up with the current status quo, and crave an immediate return of Constitutional government and an end of Federalist rule. Remember the only thing that keeps the current corrupt politicians in office is the reluctance of voters like yourself. You have given them all of their power, and you can just as easily take it away from them by pledging your support to the SPFL, the time has come to take a stand for Dixie and our Southern culture, heritage, and way of life before its gone for ever!
